Travellios helps Service Takers find and connect with verified Service Providers who are traveling on the same route or to the same destination.
Available for Service
A Service Provider switches availability on once for their account, and every flight they book from then on lists them as available to accompany another traveler on it. In keeping availability on, the Service Provider confirms they are willing to help and agrees to follow the Travellios Travel Journey terms.
How It Works
Step 1
Service Provider makes themselves available
Availability is a setting on the Service Provider’s account, switched on once their membership is approved. While it is on, every flight they book lists them as available to accompany another traveler on that flight. In keeping it on, the Service Provider:
- Agrees to provide the offered travel support.
- Accepts the Travellios Travel Journey terms.
- Agrees to follow Travellios safety guidelines and community rules.
Availability can be switched off at any time, except while a journey the Service Provider has already been engaged for is still ahead of them.
Step 2
Service Taker finds a buddy
A Service Taker who needs travel support can:
- Search available Service Providers.
- Find someone traveling on the same route or destination.
- Review Service Provider profiles, travel details, languages, ratings, and reviews.
- Select the Service Provider who matches their needs.
Step 3
Travel Journey Contract creation
When a Service Taker selects a Service Provider and the connection is created:
- A Travel Journey Contract is automatically generated through Travellios.
- The contract includes travel details, service details, fees, terms, and cancellation rules.
The Service Provider is already considered agreed to the Travel Journey Contract: they accepted the Service Provider terms when they registered, and kept their availability switched on.
Step 4
Service Taker reviews and signs
The Service Taker reviews the Travel Journey Contract before completing the booking. Since the Service Taker is requesting the service and making the payment:
- The Service Taker accepts and signs the Travel Journey Contract.
- The Service Taker completes the payment process.
Step 5
Travel with confidence
After confirmation:
- Both parties receive booking confirmation.
- Journey details are available in their Travellios dashboard.
- Communication features become available before 24hr of travel.
- Both members can prepare for a smooth journey.
