1. Travel Services and Booking Disclosure

Travellios may facilitate the purchase or arrangement of airline transportation and related travel services through third-party travel suppliers, airlines, travel technology providers, or other authorized service providers. Travellios offers airline tickets only through a booking provider that holds a contract with the airline for the transportation offered, and each booking confirmation names the airline, the booking provider, and the merchant of record.

The airline transportation is provided by the applicable airline carrier. Travellios does not operate or control the aircraft and is not responsible for the airline's operation, schedules, delays, cancellations, baggage policies, security procedures, or other carrier-controlled services.

Where applicable, the booking confirmation will identify the applicable airline or transportation provider, itinerary, travel dates, departure and arrival information, and applicable booking conditions.

At the time you pay for an airline booking, Travellios provides a written statement that lists Travellios’s name, business address, and telephone number; the amount paid, the payment date, the purpose of the payment, and an itemized balance due, if any; the location and number of any trust account that Illinois law requires for the booking; the carrier, the type of equipment, and the date, time, and place of each departure; a description of the companion service and any other service provided with the transportation; and the cancellation conditions and the rights of each party on cancellation. Travellios delivers this statement electronically after you consent to electronic records under Section 43 of the Terms of Use, and you may request a paper copy at no charge.

UPON CANCELLATION OF THE TRANSPORTATION THROUGH NO FAULT OF THE PASSENGER, ALL SUMS PAID TO TRAVELLIOS FOR SERVICES NOT PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT BETWEEN TRAVELLIOS AND THE PASSENGER WILL BE, UNLESS THE PASSENGER OTHERWISE ADVISES TRAVELLIOS IN WRITING, PROMPTLY REFUNDED BY TRAVELLIOS TO THE PASSENGER OR THE PARTY WHO CONTRACTED ON BEHALF OF THE PASSENGER.

2. Travellios Companion Service

Travellios provides a platform that may connect a Service Taker (“ST”) with a Service Provider (“SP”) traveling on a compatible route or itinerary.

The companion/support service is separate from the airline's transportation service. An SP is not an employee, agent, or representative of the airline and is not an employee of Travellios.

The SP may provide agreed travel assistance such as:

  • Airport or terminal assistance;
  • Check-in assistance;
  • Assistance with navigating the airport;
  • Luggage-related assistance;
  • Assistance with forms or general travel procedures;
  • Wheelchair or accessibility-related assistance where specifically agreed;
  • Assistance during check-out or arrival procedures; and
  • Other support specifically agreed through the Travellios platform.

The exact services available to an ST will depend on the booking and the agreed journey arrangements.

3. Fees and Amounts Paid

Before completing a booking, Travellios will present the applicable charges, which may include:

  • Airline ticket or transportation charges;
  • Service Provider fee;
  • Travellios service fee;
  • Identity Verification Fee;
  • Applicable taxes and government charges; and
  • Other applicable disclosed fees.

The consumer should review the total amount before confirming the transaction.

The amount paid, payment date, purpose of payment, and applicable balance or charges will be reflected in the booking statement described in Section 1.

4. Airline and Transportation Provider

The airline or transportation provider is responsible for providing the transportation described in the applicable ticket or booking.

Travellios does not guarantee that an airline will operate a particular flight or transportation service according to the original schedule.

Airline cancellations, delays, schedule changes, baggage restrictions, denied boarding, and other carrier-related matters are generally subject to the applicable airline's contract of carriage, fare rules, and policies.

5. Cancellation and Refund Disclosure

Cancellation and refund rights may differ depending on:

  • The airline's fare rules;
  • The transportation provider's policies;
  • The Travellios booking terms;
  • The companion/service arrangement;
  • The reason for cancellation; and
  • The time at which cancellation occurs.

Consumers should review the applicable cancellation and refund terms before completing a booking.

If the transportation is cancelled through no fault of the passenger, Travellios promptly refunds all money paid to Travellios for services not performed, unless the passenger tells Travellios in writing to handle the funds another way.

Travellios' specific refund procedures are described in its Cancellation and Refund Policy.

6. Service Provider Cancellation or No-Show

If an SP cancels, fails to appear, or fails to provide the agreed companion service, Travellios may withhold some or all of the SP service fee, depending on the circumstances and the applicable investigation or dispute process. Travellios refunds any withheld amount to the ST under the Payment Terms.

The ST may report the issue, provide a review, and submit a dispute through Travellios.

Travellios may investigate the circumstances before releasing the applicable SP payment.

7. Marketplace Disclosure

Travellios operates as a technology platform and marketplace connecting users for certain travel-related services.

Travellios does not guarantee the identity, conduct, availability, qualifications, performance, or behavior of every user or Service Provider.

Users are responsible for reviewing available information and following Travellios' Safety Policy, User Conduct Requirements, Service Taker Terms, and Service Provider Terms.

8. Third-Party Services

Certain services may be provided, processed, or supported by third parties, including airlines, payment processors, identity-verification providers, travel technology providers, communication providers, and other service providers.

Third-party services may be subject to the third party's own terms, policies, limitations, and privacy practices.

9. Identity Verification

Where identity verification is required, Travellios may use a third-party identity verification provider.

Travellios may receive verification results necessary to determine whether the applicable verification requirements have been satisfied. Where verification uses a facial scan or any other biometric identifier, the verification provider collects it on Travellios’s behalf only after you accept the separate Travellios Biometric Information Notice and Release. Travellios does not require users to send identity documents directly to Travellios unless expressly stated otherwise.

Identity verification information is handled in accordance with the Travellios Privacy Policy and applicable third-party provider terms.

10. No Guarantee of Travel Assistance

Travellios facilitates connections and bookings but does not guarantee that a particular Service Provider will be available or able to provide every requested form of assistance.

Users should not rely on an SP as a substitute for:

  • Airline-required assistance;
  • Airport accessibility services;
  • Medical care;
  • Emergency services;
  • Immigration or customs authorities; or
  • Other services that must legally or operationally be provided by an airline, airport, government authority, or qualified professional.

11. Travel Documents and Government Requirements

Each traveler is responsible for ensuring that they possess the required passport, visa, identification, immigration documents, health documentation, and other documents required for their journey.

Travellios does not guarantee that a traveler will satisfy the entry, transit, immigration, customs, or documentation requirements of any destination.

12. Consumer Responsibility

Consumers should carefully review all booking information before payment, including:

  • Traveler names;
  • Dates and times;
  • Departure and arrival locations;
  • Airline or transportation provider;
  • Baggage allowance;
  • Fare restrictions;
  • Cancellation conditions;
  • Companion service details;
  • Fees and taxes; and
  • Any applicable restrictions.

Consumers should promptly notify Travellios of any apparent error.

13. Changes to Travel Arrangements

Airlines and other transportation providers may change schedules, routes, aircraft, baggage rules, or other travel conditions.

Travellios will send material information received from the applicable provider by email and in-app notice where reasonably practicable, and will tell you about any refund right the change creates under the Cancellation & Refund Policy, but Travellios cannot control changes made by airlines or other third parties.
